The Patriots are bad, but stop trying to rewrite history
The attempt by many to rewrite history is rooted in a couple of things. From the media’s standpoint, they’ve been waiting a long time for this moment. Belichick has basically told them to go sit in the corner for 20+ years. Personally, I’ve enjoyed watching every minute of it. They haven’t, obviously, and now they’re more than glad to chip away at the aura that surrounded him for so long.
For the rest of the football world, the rewrite is based more on Belichick’s success with Tom Brady and his lack thereof without him. “Belichick is nothing without Brady” is basically the stance. There are a couple of problems with this argument, though… [Click here to read the rest]
The Lions offense put on a clinic vs. the Chargers
Detroit’s success was spearheaded by offensive coordinator Ben Johnson’s approach. He used everything at his disposal to pick the Chargers apart.

Zach Wilson’s inability to do the little things right showed up at the worst time
The Jets’ 16-12 loss to the Raiders on Sunday night dealt another blow to their playoff hopes. The play that more or less sealed their fate was Zach Wilson’s interception in the final 2 minutes as the Jets were driving for the go-ahead score.
It may not have looked like an egregious pick at first glance, but a closer look shows that it was a bad mistake that absolutely cannot happen in that situation and on that type of playcall… [Click here to read the rest]
12 thoughts from Sunday’s Week 10 games
Don’t look now, but the Vikings own the NFL’s longest current winning-streak after getting their 5th consecutive W on Sunday vs. the Saints. Josh Dobbs continues to amaze. He completed 23 of 34 passes for 268 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT, and added a rushing TD in just his second appearance with the team. Don’t sleep on that defense either. Their aggressive ways are starting to lead to some big plays.… [Click here to read the rest]
